Challenges & Solutions:
As the largest hospitality venue in the downtown Lake Geneva area, the Cove of Lake Geneva decided that they needed a banquet facility to keep pace with other similar accommodations in the Lake Geneva area.
After exploring several options, only one location on the building was practical and the addition would need to be elevated to allow vehicular traffic to pass under it. So the project was designed as a three story addition to the end of the complex with the top floor being a grand ballroom with 20’ high ceilings, with an operable partition room divider.
Below the ballroom is a generous meeting room with adjacent commercial kitchen and bathroom facilities. Both the Ballroom and Meeting room have state of the art audio visual systems controlled at an A/V room. The lowest level contains storage, and the mechanical/electrical room. All floors are connected by a new elevator.
